Active Recovery Beds in Lincolnshire 2025

This service specification sets out the Commissioners requirements for the provision of care and support by registered care homes for eligible adults funded by the Council and Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board (LICB). The specification describes the key features of the service being commissioned and must be read in conjunction with the terms and conditions of the contract. Lincolnshire County Council wishes to commission 24 Active Recovery Beds (ARB) between 1st April 2026 and 31st March 2027 in registered residential home, or in a residential home with nursing capacity across the county of Lincolnshire.

The service will provide 24-hour accommodation, care, support and stimulation to adults for whom it is not appropriate, in the short term, to return to their own homes. The Provider should offer Individuals the opportunity to enhance their quality of life by providing a safe and effective service and ensuring people have a positive experience of care.
