Open Framework- Dynamic Purchasing System

Haringey Council has established a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the procurement of a cost effective Care/Support at Home service for adults which supports and meets Service Users assessed needs while promoting their independence. The services that may be procured using the DPS include a reablement service and longer-term care and support to individuals in their own homes that is based on the principles of continuing enablement through outcome-based contracts.

Service Providers will be expected to develop effective models of service delivery that meet the needs of individuals with long-term conditions, including dementia. The Council will work with Service Providers on an ongoing basis to develop this approach and to ensure they have appropriately trained and experienced staff.
